Growing Up Ginger #9222 1976

Growing Up Ginger #9222 is sold in 1976 only. She has the same head mold and body (with "growing up mechanism") as Growing Up Skipper, but she comes with brown hair and eyes. Her original outfit consists of a turquoise suit, one long and one short turquoise skirt, pink socks and pink neckscarf, white platform sandals and turquoise flats.

She and Growing Up Skipper have their own "Growing Up Fashions" which usually contain one long and one short skirt (or pants). You can find her outfits in the "Fashions" section of Vol. 1 of this Guide.

There were bunk beds available for Growing Up Skipper and Ginger. Below there's a picture of an Italian booklet page, which shows two different designs. The text says: "Fabulous! Skipper and Ginger entering their very new bedroom: The lovely bunk bed transforms into an elegant bed with canopy, the desk table with chair, lampshade, books and notebook will become a beautiful make-up table with mirror. You will have two beautiful bedrooms in one to adapt to Skipper and Ginger growing with you as they become ladies! ":
