Penny Brite

Penny Brite  was made by Deluxe Reading/Topper Toys. She was 8 inches tall - a little smaller than Skipper.

 

Her hair was short, she had side glancing eyes and her mouth was open showing her front teeth. She was marked: Deluxe Reading Corp. Elizabeth, NJ. Pat. Pending. Penny Brite was sold in a blue plastic box with a clear front and came with her own wardrobe. Her fashions were nicely made.

Penny Brite had her own wardrobe. Since she was a little smaller than Skipper, her dresses are quite short on Skipper dolls:
